Maxim Malaysia has introduced the latest version of its app, featuring smart technologies designed to improve the ride experience for passengers and partner drivers. The new updates analyse passenger usage patterns while enhancing navigation and pickup accuracy through two new features, making ride booking faster, more convenient and more efficient.
One of the key updates is a new feature that recommends frequently used pickup and drop-off locations. The recommendations are automatically displayed on the app’s home screen when passengers book a ride, allowing them to select a frequently used location without manually entering an address or searching through their ride history. By simply tapping on the recommended location, passengers can proceed with their booking immediately. The feature uses smart technologies to analyse travel patterns and recommend locations that passengers are most likely to use, reducing the number of steps required to place an order and saving time. Passengers can also save and pin frequently used locations in the Favorites menu for quick and convenient access.
Another important enhancement is the improvement of the app’s “Meeting Point” or Pick-up Point feature. The updated feature provides a more accurate and convenient meeting location for both passengers and partner drivers. In addition to displaying the meeting point on the map, the app can help identify a clearer pickup location, making it easier for drivers to arrive at the correct spot and reducing confusion when locating passengers. It can also help minimise the risk of stopping at prohibited locations or areas where vehicles may be subject to traffic restrictions.
For passengers, the improved feature makes it easier to locate their designated meeting point, particularly in large or complex locations such as shopping malls, airports, railway stations, universities and major event venues. Clearer meeting points can help reduce misunderstandings between passengers and drivers, improve coordination and contribute to a smoother ride experience.
“We continuously listen to feedback from our passengers and partner drivers to understand the challenges they face when using our service. Two common situations are having to enter the same locations repeatedly and finding the correct pickup point, particularly in busy or complex areas. These new features are designed to make the booking process more convenient while helping partner drivers locate passengers more accurately. By providing clearer pickup points and smarter location recommendations, we hope to make every ride smoother and more efficient for both passengers and partner drivers,” said Mohd Hazwan Musley, Director of Maxim Malaysia.
The latest version of the Maxim app is available for users throughout Malaysia via the App Store for iOS devices, Google Play for Android devices, AppGallery, Galaxy Store, GetApps and the Maxim website. Existing users can update their app to access the latest features, while new users can download the app to experience the improved interface and enhanced ride-booking functions.
The latest update is part of Maxim’s ongoing efforts to develop digital technologies that improve service quality and create a more seamless ride experience.
